Who we are
Tree South Bay is a local tree care company serving Santa Clara County, California. We do one thing — take care of trees — and we do it safely, honestly, and tidily.
Our work covers the full range of residential and commercial tree services: tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, and emergency storm response.
How we work
- Free on-site estimates. We look at the tree in person, explain your options in plain language, and give you a written price. No obligation.
- Safety first. Tree work is dangerous — that's why it exists as a profession. Our crews use proper rigging, personal protective equipment, and job-site safety practices on every job.
- Proper pruning, never topping. Topping destroys a tree's structure and creates hazards. We prune to arboricultural standards: crown cleaning, thinning, and raising.
- Full cleanup. Branches get chipped, wood gets hauled, and your property is left tidy. Cleanup is part of the job, not an upsell.
- Upfront pricing. You approve the price before work begins. If the scope changes mid-job, we talk about it first.
A note on licensing
California requires a contractor's license for tree work over $500. We encourage every customer — ours or anyone else's — to ask for a license number and proof of insurance, and to verify the license at cslb.ca.gov before work begins. It's the simplest way to protect yourself.
